Referring to Jack Nicholson's conversation in his carful of misfits in "As Good as it Gets:"

Helen Hunt: OK, we all have these terrible stories to get over, and you-...
Jack Nicholson: It's not true. Some have great stories, pretty stories that take place at lakes with boats and friends and noodle salad. Just no one in this car. But, a lot of people, that's their story. Good times, noodle salad. What makes it so hard is not that you had it bad, but that you're that p***ed that so many others had it good.

I was actually the Snack Master. Although I do remember Paul Isgar asking me "What soldier of the future discovered the Pacific Ocean?"

"Is that soldier of fortune?"

"Oh, yeah."

"Balboa."

Dennis! You Trivial Pursuit Grand Master, Great to hear from you! (Or was that Carter? I seem to recall the two of you duking it out pretty regular, but some specific memories are a bit murky.)

Yeah, I still have hair, but there's less of it than there was, at least on my head. (Hmm, perhaps it's just learned to migrate...)

And when did Mom or Mary ever make noodle salad?

Hello, Bret.

I came across your mortgage calculator and recognized you from my noodle salad days at Florida State, so I thought I'd say hello. Which I did. I am currently homeschooling my two daughters, coming into the office on Thursdays to act like a lawyer, and am married to a woman who has expanded my relationship with God as Little Debbie Nutty Buddies expand my waistline.

And I notice you still have your hair.
