Senator’s Salad
Ingredients:
| 1 | stalk celery, chopped fine |
| 1 | jar pearl onions |
| 1 | can French cut green beans |
| ½ | cup chopped bell pepper |
| 1 | can Le Sueur peas |
| ¾ | cup sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon salt |
| ⅓ | cup salad oil |
| ⅔ | cup vinegar |
Drain canned vegetables, and stir all vegetables together in a large bowl. Mix together sugar, salt, salad oil, and vinegar. Pour over vegetables. Allow to marinate and chill several hours or overnight.
